Steak On Top Rawamangun in Jakarta

"It had never occurred to me that there would be a proper steak restaurant in East Jakarta. Steak on Top is one of the places that offers steak at an affordable price and with a sufficiently large portion. When I went there, I ordered their special Ramadan menu, which was lamb chop with peri-peri sauce plus sautéed mushrooms and mashed potatoes. The lamb chop was quite large, the meat was not tough, and when combined with the peri-peri sauce, the smoky flavor of the lamb chop became even more prominent. The sautéed mushrooms were a bit bland, and the mashed potatoes were quite soft, complemented by the savory gravy. Everything was served in large portions. And of course, I will definitely go back to try other menu items."

"Celebrated mother's birthday with the new Steak On Top's opening promo. The staff were kind enough to help hide the surprise cake we brought, and turned on a birthday song once it was brought out. The steak was really juicy and seasoned well. Their iced milk coffee also had strong caffeine and well-balanced flavour. Looking forward for future visits."

"The best steak in its class, IMO. They done all the dishes beautifully. We tried steaks (beef, chicken, and fish) and all are great for texture and taste. We also tried the pasta and it surpasses our expectations. The ambience also is so cozy and relaxing. You can get a view of Jakarta’s sky since there’s no skyscrapers around."

"Place is good but management no no. We went two times. First time, staff said the ramen place and steak place has merged but to order has to be separated. Ramen pay before eat. Steak pay after eat. Ramen has no drink. Steak has no coffee. Second time, a certain person acted like the owner stand in front of the cashier, for quite a long time. Me, the customer waited. When cashier person take my order (she murmured because "owner" say something inaudible in her back) the "owner" still not allow her to focus by keep saying things. I dont think this is an appropriate behavior."
